This article explains how to apply for shifts and what to do if you don't see any available shifts:


1. Applying for shifts via the PARiM mobile app

We have a video tutorial on how to apply for shifts in the PARiM iOS app. It works the same way in our Android app:


2. Applying for shifts via the PARiM web portal

  1. Click on "Open Shifts" in the left sidebar. Here you can view all the open shifts and positions that are available.

  2. You will see a list of available open shifts together with their details. If you wish to apply for a shift, click on the green "Apply" button next to the shift information:

  3. After clicking on "Apply" the site will ask you for confirmation about applying. If you are sure you wish to apply for the shift, click "Apply" again.

  4. Your shift application will be sent to your employer and the status of the shift will change to "Submitted" instead of "Available". You will have to wait for your employer to approve or decline the shift request.

  5. If you wish to cancel your shift application, click on "Cancel". PARiM will ask you to confirm the shift application cancellation. If you click "Confirm", your application will be cancelled.


3. What determines whether you can see an open shift?

Shift availability is determined by how your employer uses PARiM. We offer multiple types of filtering for your employer to use to determine shift visibility:

  • Positions you can work at

  • Preferred locations/sites

  • Qualifications/certificates

  • Departments

If you think you should be able to see more available shifts to apply for, please contact your company directly for them to have a look and adjust your profile.

You can find their contact details in PARiM mobile app if you go to "More" > "Contacts".


4. Troubleshooting

I can only see the shifts for the wrong city/county

Please contact your employer and ask them to change the locations connected to your profile. You can find their contact details in the PARiM mobile app if you go to "More" > "Contacts".

I can't see any open shifts in my mobile app even though they should be there

It's possible that the shifts are not visible because your app has not synced with the newest data yet. Please go to "More" > "Resynchronise with PARiM":

If the shifts still do not appear, please log in to the PARiM web portal and check if you can see the open shifts there.

If the shifts are visible in the web portal, your mobile app may be out of date or the app data may be corrupted. Please uninstall and reinstall the app.

If the shifts are not visible in the web portal either, please contact your employer and ask them to check if your profile has been set up correctly. You can find their contact details in the PARiM mobile app if you go to "More" > "Contacts".


If you are experiencing any problems when trying to apply for a shift, you should first contact your employer directly, as PARiM customer support does not directly manage any employees. You can find your employer's contact details by going to "More" > "Contacts" in your PARiM mobile app. If there is a technical problem or a bug, your employer should contact us directly.
