Many applications on computers and phones automatically display photos with the correct orientation even though the file itself might be rotated 90 degrees to the left or right.

When uploading a new profile picture to PARiM, you will have the option to rotate it if necessary:

If you would like to change the orientation of an already-uploaded profile picture, you would need to re-upload the file from your device.
