1. When can I request an absence?
Your employer can manage absences in three ways:
They manage absences outside of PARiM (e.g. in a different software)
They manage absences in PARiM but only allow supervisors to request them on behalf of employees
They manage absences in PARiM and enable employees to request them from the mobile app and the web portal
This article only applies to the third scenario. You'd need to contact your employer directly to request absences in the first two scenarios.
2. How do I review my holiday allowance?

Select "Time off" in the left sidebar:
The holiday allowance breakdown:
Allowed/Allowance: the total holiday allowance provided to you by your employer
Used: the amount of days/hours* you have used until today
Booked: the amount of days/hours* you have booked in the future (confirmed by your employer)
Requested: the amount of days/hours* you have requested in the future (not confirmed by your employer)
Left: the amount of days/hours* you can book in the future
*Whether your allowance is shown in days or hours depends on your employer's administration setup. For more information, please contact your employer directly.
3. How do I request an absence?
Mobile app
Select "More" in the bottom-right corner
Select "Absence"
Click on "+" in the top-right corner
Select the dates you wish to book
Select the absence type*
Enter comment
Click on "Request time off"
Web portal
Select "Time off" in the left sidebar
Click on "Book time off" in the top-right corner of the calendar
Select the dates you wish to book
Select the absence type*
Enter comment
Click on "Send request"
*Some of the absence types might have a minimum notice period. If you cannot book an absence because of a minimum notice period, please contact your employer for more information.
After you've made the absence request, it will be forwarded to your employer. You will receive an email notification once they've approved or rejected it.
Please note that different employers might have different processes and requirements regarding absences. If you haven't requested an absence from your current employer before, it's best to confirm the process with them first.
4. How do I cancel an absence?
If you wish to cancel a future absence, you can only do it yourself if your employer hasn't yet confirmed the absence request.

Select "More" in the bottom-right corner
Select "Absence"
Click on the absence you wish to cancel under the section "Requested"
Click on "Cancel request"
Web portal
Select "Time off" in the left sidebar
Click on the absence you wish to cancel in the calendar
Click on "Cancel request"
Please contact your employer directly to cancel an already confirmed absence.
If you are experiencing any problems with absences, you should first contact your employer directly, as PARiM customer support does not directly manage any employees. You can find your employer's contact details by going to "More" > "Contacts" in your PARiM mobile app. If there is a technical problem or a bug, your employer should contact us directly.
