How to add or edit Work Time Rules for Employment Type?

Once you have set up all your Work Time Rules, then you are able to add them to your Employment Types. Each of the Employment Types can have its own unique combination of Work Time Rules.

You are able to add or edit the Employment Type´s Work&Rest Time Rules in the System Settings within People Settings under Employment Types or within Scheduling Settings under Work Time Rules section.

Adding or editing Work Time&Rest Rule under Employment types 

Please open the Employment Types section under People Settings and click on the Employment Type name to open the edit dialogue. Within the edit dialogue simply tick or un-tick the rules under the  Work&Rest Time rule section and Save the changes. This way you can easily change one specific Employment type's rules.


Good to know! Only active status Work&Rest Time rules can be selected within the Employment Type edit dialogue.

Adding or editing Work Time Rule under Work&Rest Time Rules for employment types

Please open the Maximum Working Hours or Rest & Breaks at Work under Scheduling Settings and click on the rule name to open edit dialogue. Within the edit dialogue simply tick or un-tick the Contract Type for which the rule will need to apply for and Save the changes.


Good to know! The rule can be added both to the active and to the inactive employment types.
