This article will cover the topics of live shift actions and timesheets:
1. How to clock different actions during a shift?
If your employer has enabled the option to clock shifts, the clocking actions will become available 3 hours before the shift is scheduled to start.
Mobile app
Click on "Time Clock" at the bottom of the screen:
Clock in/clock out - clock in when you start your shift and clock out when you finish your shift.
Start break/end break - starting the break will pause the shift clock until you end the break. You can only clock one break per shift.
I'm on site - sends your current location to your employer if they have enabled this function. You can send your location to your employer multiple times per shift.
Check in - sends a check in to your employer if they have enabled this function. You will receive a reminder to check in if you have enabled the push notifications for the PARiM mobile app. To see the check in requirements for the shift, click on "Check in info":
Web portal
The clocking actions will be visible at the top of the "Schedule" page:
Clock in/clock out - clock in when you start your shift and clock out when you finish your shift. If you have a break scheduled, you won't be able to clock out in the web portal before clocking the break as the two functions share a button.
Take a break/finish break - starting the break will pause the shift clock until you end the break. You can only clock one break per shift.
Check in - sends a check-in to your employer if they have enabled this function.
"I'm on site" is not available in the web portal due to web browsers' positioning inaccuracy.

4. FAQ
Will I be able to clock in after the shift's scheduled start time?
You will be able to clock in anytime until the shift is scheduled to end.
What happens if I don't clock out of the shift?
If you have clocked in, but don't clock out when the shift is scheduled to end, the shift clock will remain active i.e you will go into overtime. If you still haven't clocked out 25 hours after the shift started, the system will clock you out automatically and set the shift's scheduled end time as the shift's actual end time on the timesheet.
What happens if I don't clock in at all?
A timesheet will still be generated using the shift's scheduled start and end times; however, it will be visible to your supervisor that the shift was never clocked, so they might contact you for more info.
Why can't I see an option to start a break?
The option to go on a break is only visible if your employer has scheduled a break for this shift. For more information, please contact your employer.
I accidentally confirmed a timesheet with incorrect information, how can I amend it?
You wouldn't be able to edit a timesheet yourself after confirming it, but your supervisor can do it, so please contact them.
If you are experiencing any problems with clocking or timesheets, you should first contact your employer directly, as PARiM customer support does not directly manage any employees. You can find your employer's contact details by going to "More" > "Contacts" in your PARiM mobile app. If there is a technical problem or a bug, your employer should contact us directly.
