This article will explain the notifications in PARiM:

1. Why does PARiM send me notifications?

PARiM might send you email/sms/push notifications regarding any updates related to your daily work - these could be notifications about your current shift, your future shifts, your absence requests or your access to the system.

2. Mobile app notifications

You can configure the mobile app push notifications if you go to "More" > "Settings" > "Notifications" in the PARiM mobile app. Android and iOS apps will have different settings available due to the operating system differences.

Android

You can configure each type of push notification separately:

iOS

You can only configure the upcoming shift reminder notifications separately, the rest of the push notifications have to be configured in bulk:

3. Email and SMS* notifications

*SMS notifications are only available if your employee has enabled this feature

You can configure the email and SMS notifications from the PARiM web portal, but you cannot do it from the PARiM mobile app.

To receive emails from PARiM, your email address must be verified. If your email address hasn't been verified, you will see a banner in the top-left corner of the PARiM web portal (click on it to verify your email address):

Once you've verified your email address, you can configure the email notification settings:

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner

  2. Select "Settings":

  3. Toggle the settings "On" or "Off" according to your preferences:

4. Unsubscribing from email notifications

There is a link at the end of each PARiM email to unsubscribe from any future email notifications:

If you choose to do so, you will no longer receive any emails from the system.

If you wish to re-subscribe to email notifications, you have to go to "Settings" in the PARiM web portal (see paragraph 3) and there will be an option "Subscribe to emails":

If you are experiencing any problems with notifications, you should first contact your employer directly, as PARiM customer support does not directly manage any employees. You can find your employer's contact details by going to "More" > "Contacts" in your PARiM mobile app. If there is a technical problem or a bug, your employer should contact us directly.
