This article provides troubleshooting steps for browsers and mobile phones, which can help in a wide range of situations. For example, when the app or web portal are not behaving as expected or if there are missing elements from the usual view.

We primarily recommend using the Chrome web browser for best user experience although other browsers are supported as well.

Web browser troubleshooting

Chrome - clearing cache:

This step logs you out of any sessions from other websites in other windows and tabs of your browser. Please ensure that no important information is lost before proceeding.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, click on the three-point menu.

  3. Hover to More Tools and from the sub-menu select Clear browsing data.

  4. At the top, choose a time range. Choose "All Time".

  5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check both of the boxes.

  6. Click Clear data.

Chrome - removing site settings:

  1. Click on the padlock icon in front of the PARiM website URL.

  2. Select Site Settings.

  3. Click Clear data and confirm the action on the popup.

Chrome - sign in without extensions:

If the above steps were not successful and you use several extensions with the browser then it would be useful to try to log into PARiM without them.

The easiest way is to sign in through an incognito window.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, click on the three-point menu.

  3. Select New Incognito Window.

  4. Go to your company´s PARiM site and log in.

Edge - clearing cache:

This step logs you out of any sessions from other websites in other windows and tabs of your browser. Please ensure that no important information is lost before proceeding.

  1. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the browser.

  2. Choose Settings.

  3. In Settings, go to the Privacy Search and Services section.

  4. Under Clear Browsing Data click Choose What To Clear.

  5. Select the items you wish to clear (e.g., Browsing History, Cookies and Saves Website Date, Cached Data and Files, Downloaded History and Form Data).

  6. Click Clear.

Safari - clearing cache:

This step logs you out of any sessions from other websites in other windows and tabs of your browser. Please ensure that no important information is lost before proceeding.

  1. Click the Safari menu, then Clear History...

  2. In the Clear field choose All History

  3. Click Clear History.

Mozilla Firefox - clearing cache:

  1. Click the menu button and select Settings.

  2. Select the Privacy & Security panel.

  3. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data…

  4. Remove the checkmark in front of Cookies and Site Data.

  5. With Cached Web Content checkmarked, click the Clear button.

  6. Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.

Mobile app troubleshooting

For both Android and iOS on the PARiM app, the first step is to always tap More and then scroll down and select Resynchronise with PARiM, which refreshes the app and resolves most issues.


Should the issue persist, restarting your phone may fix it.

Android - reinstall app

  1. Go to Settings and Applications

  2. Select the PARiM app from the list and choose Uninstall

  3. Go to the Google Play store, search for the PARiM app and install it.

iOS - reinstall app

  1. Uncheck the app’s name under the Applications tab for your iPhone in iTunes.

  2. Click Sync (this will uninstall the app on your iPhone).

  3. Recheck the app’s name under the Applications tab.

  4. Click Sync again to reinstall the app.
