This article explains what you can do in the PARiM web portal as an employee:

You can also find more detailed articles about some of these topics in our help centre: https://support.parim.co/.

1. Web portal overview

The PARiM web portal allows the employees to manage their work-related information e.g.:

  • Update their personal information, qualifications, bank account details etc.

  • View their work schedule, timesheets and the details of upcoming shifts

  • Apply for available shifts

  • Clock in and out of work

  • Add expenses to their shifts

  • Request absences

Note that some of the functions might be disabled by your employer depending on their administration setup and work proceses. For more information, please contact your employer directly.

You will find the main menu of the PARiM web portal in the left sidebar and the information section (notifications and messages) in the top-right corner of the page:

2. Completing and editing your profile

When logging in for the first time you will be required to accept PARiM's privacy terms & conditions to proceed.

After you've done this, you should verify your email address and accept your employer's terms & conditions by clicking on the notifications at the top of the screen:

Next, you should complete your profile with the personal information necessary for your employer.

Click on your name in the top-right corner of the page and select "My Profile" from the drop-down menu:

Your profile page will open, and you will be able to add and edit your personal information.

To add or edit the information, click on "Edit" or "Add" in the top-right corner of each section. This will open a new window and after you've added or updated the information, click on "Save" or "Confirm".

To change your login details, click "Login details" in the top-right corner of the "My Profile" page. A pop-up box will be displayed where you can change your login details:

3. Schedule

The first option in the left sidebar - "Schedule" - displays your shifts and absences.

The shifts in the calendar are colour-coded:

  • Green - confirmed shifts

  • Yellow - shift requests waiting for your confirmation (click on the shift for an option to confirm)

  • Blue - shift applications waiting for your employer's confirmation

If you have a shift starting soon (within 3 hours), there will be a clock-in option at the top of your Schedule page, which allows you to clock in and out of work and record your break:

You can mark yourself as available or unavailable for work on specific days to indicate if shifts should be assigned to you or not. To do it, click on a specific day in the calendar and select either "Set as Available" or "Set as Unavailable":

Note that your employer can still decide to assign shifts to you even if you've marked yourself as unavailable. For more information, please contact your employer directly.

4. Open shifts

The second option in the left sidebar - "Open Shifts" - displays all the available shifts you can apply for.

If you are sure you can work a shift and wish to apply for it, click on the green "Apply" button next to the shift.

This will send a request to your employer, who can accept or reject it - in both cases, you will receive a notification and an email about their decision.

5. Timesheet

The third option in the left sidebar - "Timesheet" - displays your shift history.

You can see all your finished shifts along with their pay.

The default view will display the timesheets for the previous week. You can also change the filter to "Last Month" or specific dates:

You can approve your timesheets and change the shift hours (if necessary) if you click on the blue star icon ("*") within the "worked hours" box.

6. Time off

The fourth option in the left sidebar - "Time off" - allows you to request absences, view your existing absence statuses and details, and view your absence allowance information.

To request a new absence, click on the green "Book time off" button in the top-right corner of the calendar, enter the details about the absence and click "Send request" to forward it to your employer:

You will receive an in-app notification and an email once your request has been accepted or rejected.

You can also request an absence from the "Schedule" page if you click on the red "Request time off" button in the top-right corner of the page.

7. Documents

The fifth option in the left sidebar - "Document" - allows you to upload and view previously uploaded documents.

To add a new document, drag and drop a file to the upload area or click on it to select a file from your computer:

The documents uploaded by your employer (and published to employees) will also appear here.

8. Assets

The final option in the left sidebar - "Assets" - displays all the company assets currently in your possession along with their additional details - description, return date, value etc.

You can also view your asset history.

9. Expenses

You can add expenses to shifts for gas, taxi fares etc. if it's been agreed with your employer. To add an expense to a shift, select "Schedule" in the left sidebar, choose a shift and click "(+ add)" next to "Expenses":

Once you've saved an expense, it has to be confirmed by your employer for it to be included in your pay.

10. Messages

The PARiM messaging function can be found by clicking on the envelope icon in the top-right corner of the screen:

It allows you to view messages you've received through PARiM and reply to the messages. The icon will have a red number next to it if you have any unread messages.

It also allows you to message your supervisors:

11. Notifications

The notifications can be found by clicking on the bell icon in the top-right corner of the screen:

It will show notifications about new shifts that have been assigned to you, shift cancellations etc. The icon will have a red number next to it if you have any unread notifications.

12. Help and support

PARiM has a range of helpful articles about navigating and using the system.

All the articles are available in our help centre (https://support.parim.co/), which can also be accessed if you click on your name in the top-right corner and select "How-to Guides":
