PARiM's Absence module settings offer the possibility to create different types of absences with three main sub-types - Holiday, Sickness and Other.

  1. Holiday - this absence type always deducts days or hours from the employee annual holiday allowance. You can set the type up with or without pay and choose the correct rate if with pay. 

  2. Sickness - this absence type helps to track different types of sick leaves. You can set the type up with or without pay and choose the correct rate if with pay. 

  3. Other - this absence type is meant for all other absences that you would like to track that will not deduct days/hours from holiday allowance and are not related to sickness. You can set the type up with or without pay and choose the correct rate if with pay.
